Never thought of that, but its a bit expensive for a maintenance shed. Whilst in TPF every depot and station (except bus stops) has an integral storage capablilty that will hold goods dropped off at them until they are collected.īut the warehouse building in this game just seems to be a very expensive goods dump, and I'm not even sure if you get paid for delivering to it.Ĭan anyone explain how to use warehouses so that they add value to a network? ![]() In RRT warehouses are useful additions to stations as they reduce the rate at which available goods dissappear over time, so they have a sort of preservation of buisness function. I was a curious as whilst I understand what a warehouse does in this game, I'm not really sure why I would ever use one, and I couldn't understand why in Katherines case she didn't just deliver the goods to the cities that wanted them. ![]() I'm working though the Early Days Campaign, and noticed that Katherine of Sky in her playthrough uses a Warehouse positioned between Baltimore and New York to gather the cattle milk grain and vegetables from the nearby farms. ![]()
